Stunning decor and comfort.

The room was clean and comfortable, but traffic noise was quite loud.

the staff here were really friendly & the hotel was super clean. rooms were nicely laid out and beds were comfy. enjoyed the good tv with lots of channels too. it was a short walk to the city center which was perfect.

had some road noise at night which was kinda annoying and the bathroom could use a shelf for stuff, like shampoo. also, no milk for tea in the room, which was a bummer.

i had a lovely stay at new holgate. the location was perfect, just a short walk to all the main sights. the staff were always ready to help, making my stay even more pleasant. the place was quiet and clean, which added to the comfort.

lovely little boutique hotel, rooms r really comfy n clean. staff were super friendly n helped us with everything we needed. breakfast was delish n fresh. the location was great, close to town but not too noisy. worth every penny, will def come back!

the hot n cold taps in our room weren't marked, n the sink was kinda small. also, the shower could use a soap dish.

I loved the easy walk to the stunning Yorkshire Museum and the peaceful York Museum Gardens, both just a short stroll away, making my weekend explorations so enjoyable. the room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, which added a lovely touch to my stay. This place is ideal for single travelers like me who enjoy discovering city landmarks and relaxing in nearby parks.

Target audience business-minded travelers

This place has a great location, I mean everything is close by and easy to get to even on foot and I liked that the room had all these little extras like a smart tv and nice toiletries, it felt good to come back to after a long day of meetings, also the staff were top-notch, they totally went above and beyond to help us out and make sure we were comfortable which is rare these days

It cost a bit more than I expected but it was still acceptable for what we got

I stayed for 2 nights in a Double Suite. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location was excellent, close to attractions. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed the nice period decor and quiet surroundings. 😊

Perfect spot for a getaway

Had a nice stay! Located just a short stroll to The Shambles. Super clean and comfy. Staff were always around to help. Breakfast was really good too! Only thing was the draft from the not-quite-sealed window. But, otherwise, no complaints!

great experience but minor noise issue

There was some noise from the nearby street that could be heard in the room.
